Internal links with spaces don't have page preview in edit mode

The page preview plugin doesn’t work in edit mode with normal Markdown links like [title](URL) to files inside the vault that have a space in them. Both supported escape / enclosing / encoding methods - the general URL [link](Long%20title) and the custom [link](<Long title>) are inert on hovering on otherwise functioning links.

Do they work if there is no space?

They don’t.

Page preview doesn't work for standard markdown links

Only links following the WIKILINKS format are visible on Ctrl-Hover. When system creates markdown links the hover doesn’t work. This works: ![[img/image.jpg]] This doesn’t work: [title](img/image.jpg) The wikilinks do not work correctly in several other programs while the standard markdown links cause less problems (especially when containing spaces)

Be aware that properly formatted markdown links should have .md at the end.
