Internal link to a header which has a url is displayed "uncooked"

My MCVE text:

I'm linking to the header below: [[#[header with a link](https //google.com)]].

- text from that header

My problem: when i linked to that header (by typing [[# and then selecting from autocomplete), i expected in the preview to see only header with a link and not the whole “uncooked” url [header with a link](https //google.com).

Actual:

Is this a known bug, or something that happens only on my machine? I have already tried using the default theme.
