Input Issues with Samsung Galaxy Tab and Keyboard

So, this is a bit strange. I am having issues on Android with input with the keyboard. Obsidian does not recognize backticks if entered by the keyboard. On-screen keyboard or copy-paste works fine.

This was entered with the on-screen keyboard.

I can’t see any difference between the two, but it doesn’t even work here, so it has to be some kind of issue around the Samsung keyboard. Has any ever experienced this and found a solution?

i have the same issue.
When I try to type with the physical keyboard, it only lets me type one character, then closes.
The onscreen keyboard works perfectly
