Inform users in apps that Obsidian Sync deletes remote vaults in 30 days after subscription cancelation

Use case or problem

I got Sync subscription, used it for a month, canceled it. Meanwhile, I lost my device, bought a new one, got Obsidian, again subscribed to Sync under the same account, no Vault…

Proposed solution

Inform users in Apps which are connected to Sync account, that you delete data. Current implementation (reading the docs) is not verbose enough. You can alert users in scaling manner, 30 days > 14 days > 7 days > 3 days > 1 day. Allow users to disable these notifications on 14th day.

This feels like a prank, because in contemporary UX, the app babysits its users when their data might potentially be removed/changed. But in this case I learned it a hard way and I want no-one to repeat the same.

PSA: Obsidian sync deletes your vaults after 30 days of no subscription.

I will submit a feature request to alert about remote vault deletion if subscription has been canceled.

This happened to me. Should have read its documentation more thoroughly.
