Indented numbered list plus code block corrupt the editor

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new note.

  2. Paste the following:

  3. aaa

    1. bbb

The Average Directional Index (ADX) is used to measure the strength or weakness of a trend, not the actual direction. Directional movement is defined by +DI and -DI.

  1. You will see beginning from “# Interpretation” the format of everything is corrupted.

Expected result

Normal formatting.

Additional information

Thanks. The editor doesn’t interpret correctly a list beginning with 01.

Not only that.

If 01. aaa is replaced with 10. aaa or 11. aaa, or 21. aaa, the bug remains. As a matter of fact, it seems to me that as long as the list number is greater than 9, the problem arises.

For example,

Just to confirm that I’m seeing a similar rendering bug with unordered lists too, as can be seen in the screenshot.

This is for Obsidian Version 1.1.16 (Installer 1.1.16) on MacOS (installed from brew).
I see the same bug on Obsidian 1.4.3 (95) API v1.1.16 on Android (installed from the Google play store).

Seems that any lists placed before code blocks break the code formatting

without list

error with list
