Incomprehensible CSS documentation

The documentation page about CSS in obsidian basically doesn’t explain anything. It says where you can place a css snippet, but does not explain how to apply it in a note. There is a weird showcase example, which is not explained how it can be included.
There is a separate page where it is mentioned that cssclasses does something, but clearly not enough to get any idea how to use it.
Then there are a couple of pages in developer docs, such as this, that also mention the word “snippet” without explaining how to do something useful and no examples.
I propose that there should be a page which properly explains how to make a css snippet and the ways how to actually apply it. As I understand there are multiple ways to apply it, one of them is through cssclasses property (and I’m not even sure whether the name of the snippet should be used, or the name of the classes within the snippet etcetera), and another way is via css attribute selector.

At least an example file! I’m trying to create a css snippet to fine-tune something that the theme doesn’t adress and it is being a real pain!
