Problem:
The purple text select highlight color that is revealed when selecting text in a note that is being edited (in dark mode) does not have enough contrast to meet minimum accessibility requirements.
It’s a real problem for vision impaired users.
It’s also very hard to see accurately and clearly in general.
Solution:
Make sure all interface color modes (skins) i.e. Dark Mode, Light Mode and any Custom Color modes have a text select highlight color and shade to that meets minimum accessibility requirements for contrast.
For example:
The text select highlight color on this forum is a lot better than the Android app. It’s really a matter of sacrificing an aesthetic choice to improve usability.
