Import .md files using iOS app

Things I have tried

I’ve searched the help and the web for guidance about importing markdown files from within the iOS app. What I’m finding doesn’t relate to what I’m seeing here.

What I’m trying to do

Brand new to Obsidian. Finding even basics mysterious.

I have a small group of .md files created with vim. They are a primitive zettelkasten. I’d like to continue working with them.

Very unclear from what I’m reading how to go about importing them.

Did you try to move the .md files with the file app to the Obsidian vault folder?

Sorry I missed your response. Several days, maybe more than a week, after my initial post, it occurred to me to just that.

If Ild been paying attention, I would’ve got your reply and done it earlier.
