No matter if it’s a new one or old, if it embedded in a note or opened directly it shows placeholder as if the image is not found.
On windows everything is fine.

post a screen recording of this happening in the help vault.
In the help vault images are loading fine, I created a new vault and images are loading there as well. Tested other media types, they are not working in my previously created vaults, but everything ok when I create a new vault.
My vaults were created on windows and when I open them on linux, media files are not working. If this is the case, how can I repair my vault?
I tried to disable plugins, it doesn’t help.
I don’t have access to a machine with windows right now, so I can’t fully test it.
You either have a plugin problem or perhaps you put your vault in weird path.
Turns out it is the path problem. In my vaults I used emojis and Russian characters in folder names. After renaming everything is normal.
I don’t know yet if it is an issue of Russian language in my configuration or in Obsidian. But sometimes I need Russian language for folder names.
