I'm a little bit confused about the manual installation

When I opened Obsidian just now, it gave me a message urging me to do a manual installation to update itself to the latest version. I clicked the link it gave and it showed me the website with the download button. The button said that the version it would be downloading is 0.15.8. However, my obsidian showed me that its current version is 0.15.8 too.

Is it necessary to download the latest version manually? If not, how can I stop letting obsidian showing me the message every time I open it (which is like, once every hour)?
