What I’m trying to do
Import a generic ics event into desktop Obsidian App Current version: v1.9.12 (Installer version: v1.4.16).
Plugin Calendar Version: 1.5.10 By Liam Cain.
Things I have tried
- Read the plugin ICS Version: 1.10.3 By Cloud Atlas.
- Obsidian desktop → Ctrl+P → command palette: ics → selected ICS: import events → nothing happened.
- Checked the Duocon 2025.ics file

- Read Obsidian forums for search results: ics, but nothing related.
- Read the ICS plugin setup → Installation → Setup (no Google nor MS calendar data to import) → Obsidian Plugin Setup → 1. unable to find any “+” button to add a new calendar (I don’t need a new calendar, I just need the event added to my plugin Calendar) → Usage → followed steps but nothing happened.
