Icons in Tags

Hi

I am try to add custom icons inside the tags. I have tried using icon-shortcodes plugin and it give me below in the ‘Live Preview’ mode if I am using . Also, it has now created a new tag.

However, if I use emoji from the Emoji Toolbar plugin it works.

The plugin probably doesn’t operate inside the YAML metadata. Check the plugin’s documentation and GitHub issues.

I reckon the emoji that works are actual unicode characters, and not a text reference which is rendered using some plugin stuff. So it could that you could get icon-shortcode emojis within a tag if you’re able to copy the resulting emoji as a character (and not just the definition).
