use shimmering focus (:house: Home - Shimmering Focus ⟡ (chrisgrieser.github.io)) theme for full screen mode and Long Form plugin (Plugins - Obsidian)

Because Obsidian notes are plain text files, if you don’t find a solution you like inside Obsidian you can use a different app to draft your novel and use Obsidian for other parts of the process.
