I hope there is a hotkey to delete a whole line(Ctrl Y ?)

In the command palette, there is Delete paragraph. Does this meet your expectation of “delete a whole line”?

To delete a whole line in Obsidian on macOS, I use the default OS keyboard shortcuts which provides a lot of the basic emac shortcuts:

  • CTRL-a (Jumps to the beginning of the line)
  • CTRL-k (Delete from cursor to newline character)

Is this what you have in mind?

Delete Paragraph = Ctrl + D
