I have some strategy / process questions pertaining to Zettlekasten in Obsidian for the purpose of writting a book

Hello, I’m Richard James, and I’ve dedicated the past 32 years to serving at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Currently, I lead an incredible team of 18 chaplains, and I’m on a mission to expand my impact even further.

I am embarking on an exciting journey to write a book titled “Serving Humanity Inspired by Divine Benevolent Intent.” This work will draw on the rich resources of theology, psychology, and education to inspire and uplift others.

To organize my thoughts and ideas, I’ve adopted a hybrid Zettelkasten system, blending digital and printed elements, all while utilizing my MacBook Pro M3 and the Obsidian app.

I want to discuss some strategic and process questions. Is anyone where is an expert in Obsidian and Zettelkasten I could speak to you?

Morning Richard,

I have written many self-published books and courses. Also, I’m a new Rescue Squad Chaplin.

I’d happily answer your questions and help you with strategy/process (no charge.)

You can reach me via https://www.justinhitt.com/

I’ll get you on my calendar and forward some training I’ve done for clients on book development.

I couldn’t find a private message option, but you’ll find a contact page on that website to reach me.

Sincerely,

Justin Hitt

Here’s what I shared with Richard via email. I hope it helps you too.

  • How to find and organize exciting topics so that you can write your next book quickly. Helps you focus on serving your audience, Clips
  • Streamline the book writing programs, from note-taking to publishing. Here’s how to organize your ideas and get your book done, https://youtu.be/D2jY7HMxj4w

Ask me anything here or in the comments. Obsidian is a great place to take notes for a book.

Best,

Justin
