I kept losing ideas and unfinished projects across folders, chats, notes, calendars, and different apps. I didn’t need another productivity system telling me what I was doing wrong—I needed a dependable way to return to something after my attention moved elsewhere.
I started using Obsidian to organize my life as:
- Side Quests for possibilities I haven’t committed to
- Adventures for projects I’ve chosen to pursue
- Quests for concrete actions owned by an Adventure
- A Map Room for finding my way back
It’s still evolving, and I’m documenting what works, what fails, and what changes. I also made a video walkthrough under the name “My Adventure Process.” I’m new to the forum and can’t include links yet, so I’ll add it once that becomes available.
I’d especially love to know how other Obsidian users create “return points” for projects they haven’t touched in a while.
