I have been using Obsidian for a good while now and I could always see the internal link of an image by clicking on it, or by moving the text cursor “into” the image using the arrow keys.
Recently something changed and I cannot see it anymore. The text cursor treats the image as a single character now and jumps over it. The mouse cursor mouse cursor becomes a zooming symbol when hovering the image. When clicking the image, it “zooms” the picture (something is wrong with this feature and I do not actually see any image when I click it).
I have no plugins running.
I am using a Mac.
Things I have tried
I searched for an option that I may have to turn off or on in the settings everywhere. But I could not find one.
Clicking on the </> icon (top-right on an image) will expose the link.
For exposing the embedded image link without using the mouse, you can type Enter when your cursor is on the image (you’ll see an outline) to expose the link and Tab to expose the image size if one is set.
Interesting. The symbol is not shown. When hovering it, it says “Edit this block”. However, clicking on it just zooms again. Also right-clicking the image and choosing “Edit link” does nothing.
