How to use special chars in general links

Hi there,

My question is what escape shape does obsidian use for special characters?

I’m trying to use a [pagelink](page.md#headline) that works fine as long as it doesn’t contain any special characters.

I found that Obsidian accepts encoded spaces %20 in links, but not %3A which are a simple :. MD Interpreter of Obsidian just skips this : in my program, I concluded.

So if there is a ### headline: on page.md and I refer to page.md with a page link [headline](page.md#headline), it works and I really don’t know how and why.

Tanks for help.

Kind regards, MB
