How to trim data view columns and force table lists inline?

Hi there,

I’d like to change the way my data view tables are displayed. As I have a lot of information, the rows get wider and there are line breaks. I want to change three things:

  • Have a maximum column size
  • Force information in list form onto a single row
  • Force it onto a single line and prevent line breaks

It doesn’t matter if I can’t see all the information in the table, the aim is to make the tables easier to read.

I manage to achieve this result with the ‘minimal’ theme and the ‘Style Settings’ plugin, but I haven’t found a solution to achieve the same result with other themes. The settings I change in the ‘Style Settings’ plugin for the ‘minimal’ theme are ‘Trim Dataview columns’ and ‘Force table lists inline’.
