Hello, I’m new to Obsidian and I use Notability to take handwrittten notes, and now I want to tansfer my notes from notability to obsidian. Please help me with this.
I tried that too, but without success (see here). The only way I can see at the moment is:
- Export as PDF
- Optionally use an OCR tool to extract the text
- Import the PDF into Obsidian
It would be interesting to know if someone found a better way.
Hey, first go to the notability app on your device, then go to the share button and export it as PDF. You can find a tutorial [LINK REMOVED] to export notes from notability. After exporting your PDF to import it in Obsidian you can directly drag your PDF into it, here is a relevant Obsidian thread.
why did you remove first link for exporting PDF from notability?
Because a very new user doesn’t need to provide an entire blog post link for a very basic app feature. Since you are such a new user, I will assume it is link-farming. Nothing personal.
