How to search for md files in the root folder?

Been searching and googling for 20 minutes and I can’t find something I’m sure I knew before…

I need to search for all md files in the root of my vault, but I can’t figure out how to say: path: root. I tried -path: / file: .md, -path: "/" file: .md and other such things.

It might not be the easiest but does this work: -path: /\// ?
