How to quote a Forum post in responding to the post?

What I’m trying to do

In responding to a post on the Forum I want to quote the post in replying to it? I don’t see a way.

Thanks. I was asking specifically about the Obsidian Forum. Is the Forum a Discourse type forum?

Yes. Discourse is the software the Obsidian and many other forums run on.
