What I’m trying to do
I am new to Obsidian and considering subscribing Sync. according to another earlier discussions [Preformatted text](https://forum.obsidian.md/t/obsidian-sync-deleted-all-my-files/24686?u=angel00), when I work on multiple device, and sometimes without internet connection, how do I make sure Sync doesn’t delete my files? Thank you!

haven’t tried anything because I am a bit scared on losing my notes.
) but if you’re anxious about the possibility of losing your notes, regardless of the sync method you choose, you should back up them before doing anything else (as “syncing is not a backup”)
