How to open the markdown file using a custom command?

Things I have tried

I installed Obsidian using flatpak. So Obsidian sees only apps installed with flatpak when I click on “open in default app”. The thing is the markdown editor I want to use is not on flatpak so I did the good old “tar file” install. Is there anyway I could make Obsidian open the file in that app? The app is abricotine.

What I’m trying to do

The only reason I am using that app is when I select a part of the text it gives an option to copy it as HTML. If it can be done in the Obsidian itself, I will be over the moon.

I didn’t have the opportunity to test it, but according to this post you can copy html from the preview mode in Obsidian.

That methods leaves out some formatting esp language attributes in the pre code tags are not being preserved.
