How to open links from a document always in the same pane

I’ve looked all around for a way to do a simple thing.

How to open links from a document always in the same pane? For example, if I have a MOC open in the left pane, as I click the links the documents apear in the right pane… without opening a new window! I don’t want to clutter the interface with all these panes.

I think that would be really useful for classes.

Are you in source mode, live preview and reading mode? Where is your MOC, in the far left pane (as in the same pane as the search and file explorer? Is it a pinned pane?

The perfect situation for me would be to have this behavior in any mode. But I can adapt and work in any mode.

My MOC is in a pinned pane.
