How to open a note with a sidebar button

I am trying to use a left sidebar button to open a specific note.

I have searched in this forum as well as out on the web:

Help: open specific note from a sidebar button : r/ObsidianMD (reddit.com)

I have Quick Add, Meta Bind and Commander installed. I have been unsuccessful at getting any of the see plugins to setup a macro linked to a specific note file to open it.

I have also dragged the note to the top toolbar at which point a button is automatically created. But when I tap that button the note is opened in place of the file explorer. The goal is to open the note in a new tab stacked on the other open notes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

I found a solution

Load Filtered Opener
Load Commander

In Filtered Notes create a note set of a single defined note

In Commander under the Ribbon add a new command, use the “Pick Note”
command that is made available through Filtered Opener

That’s it

Also one could use the “HOT KEYS FOR SPECIFIC FILES” plug in too, but my goal was to have a button on the left ribbon.

Best Regards
