How to make obsidian show speial signs?

I need some signs that obsidian use for styling.
I want to show * in my notes but it is trying to make text italic instead.

Hello, @STVDI. All you need to do is UTF encode them. For example, $#42; is the code for * ☕ is the code for a cup of :coffee: and &#9889 is code for a :zap:

You can also escape characters, such as asterisks, by putting a backslash in front of them. For example:

There is a backslash \* in front of the asterisk on this line.

It renders as in the text below:

There is a backslash * in front of the asterisk on this line.
