How to link to a file locally BUT outside of the vault?

I’ve set that the default location for new attachments is a subfolder called ATTACHMENTS.
That’s fine but I’ve images and videos which are heavy and I don’t want to create duplicates on my harddrive.
This files are on another path (another unit) of my harddrive: How do I link to that files ?
