Apologies for what is a fairly stupid question.

How do I install the Breadcrumbs plugin from Github? I’ve tried downloading the zip file, unpacking and adding the to plugins folder, quoting and restarting Obsidian. When I try to activate I get “Failed to load plugin breadcrumbs”. I even tried using the Github Desktop app for the files, but had the same result. I tried removing various combinations of files that I thought might be Github-specific, but always had the same result.

I assume I’m missing something obvious.

You need to download from the releases.

That did it. I appreciate the quick response. And now I know how to work with Github.
