How to get plug ins without using community plugins

Things I have tried

I’ve searched the forums for how to install plugins and variations on that but no joy for what I’m after specifically.

What I’m trying to do

I have obsidian on a machine which does NOT have access to the WWW. I still wish to install plugins but the best I can do is transfer over relevant files from another machine and install from there. Is this even possible or is the 3rd party community plugin option the only way?

Is anyone able to walk a complete newb through how to use somewhere like github to do this?

Follow the steps in “Manually installing the plugin” available here:

For any plugin you want to install, look for the Releases on the plugin’s GitHub repository. Download the files mentioned in the instructions above, and put them in the vault as instructed.
