How to change the heading level in notes based on the title numbering

There are a lot of title level errors in the notes, how to quickly fix them.

Are you asking how to change from h3 to h5, as an example?

To (for example) increase heading levels in a note by 1:

  1. Open the 3 dot menu in upper right and choose Replace…
  2. In the Find box put # (a hash mark followed by a space) .
  3. In the Replace box put ## (2 hash marks followed by a space).
  4. Either press the Replace All button (to change all headings in the note) or use the other buttons to navigate the results and change the ones that need it.

I think there may be a plugin that adds commands for increasing and decreasing heading levels.
