How to automatically move all note tags into frontmatter

I’m searching for a way to have all tags in a note, often at the bottom of my notes, moved automatically into the frontmatter section in the proper format (without #).

I’ve checked out and tried these plugins:
Linter plugin
MetaEdit plugin
But wasn’t able to do it with either of them.
I might be missing something.

Does anyone know if this is possible and how?
