How do I place buttons (from the plugin) /code blocks next to each other?

Hi,

I use the Buttons plugin. Unfortunately they only ever show up underneath each other.

Is there any way I can have two or more buttons show up next to each other? Each button is invoked via a code block. When I try to put these blocks either in a markdown table or a < table >…< / table > they are not parsed anymore. So I guess I need to do some CSS magic? Does anyone know what to do next?
