I turned on the Template plugin, but I do not understand how to create the template folder. Where exactly do I create this folder? And how do I name this folder? I understand I put the folder in my vault but that did not work–I went into my vault through my computer to set it up. I couldn’t find anything on here to answer my question and the plugin itself seems to assume you know what to do.

I’m using Windows 10.

Settings > Templates > Template folder location

The folder you chose there must already exist somewhere in the hierarchy of your vault’s folders. So, if you want for example to keep templates in a folder at the root of the vault, then create a folder there, then assign it as the template folder in Settings, as noted above.
