Hello friends, I just created my account on the forum, so I apologize if I’m posting in the wrong place.
My question is: if I format my PC, will I lose my notes created in Obsidian (if I haven’t subscribed to the Sync plan)? Is there any way to back them up before formatting and reinstalling my PC?

Yes. And you will lose all of your other non-Obsidian data as well (installed apps, documents, photos, music, etc.) if they are not backed up.
If you don’t already backup your computer, now is a good time to start! Help: Back up your Obsidian files (useful for non-Obsidian files too).
