How can I close the tasks automatically if they passed the due?

Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way of automatically closing a Task if it passed the due.
I am pretty new to obsidian, sorry if this might be to obvious.

The Tasks plugin might be of help – take notice, that I don’t use it, but it looks to be scriptable: obsidian://show-plugin?id=obsidian-tasks-plugin.

Otherwise, you will need to get your hands dirty and dive into JavaScript. The Templater plugin (obsidian://show-plugin?id=templater-obsidian) allows you to use JS. There are other plugins which enhance Obsidian on the scripting side.
