Steps to reproduce
Using ctrl+hover over either a video file in the file manager, or a link/embed of one in an editor, then click on the visible portion of the video
Expected result
Either the video should not begin playback, the hover should remain open so that playback can be stopped, or playback should stop when the hover preview closes
Actual result
Video begins playback and the hover preview closes immediately. Audio remains playing and cannot be stopped. Hovering again just opens a new version, and clicking the new one doesn’t stop the old one from continuing to play, it just creates a chorus.
