Hover preview does not work

What I’m trying to do

Hi,
I want to use the hover preview, to see a preview of a linked note in an hover editor, when pressing “ctrl” while hovering over that link. … but it doesn’t appear a hover preview. It is probably because of some settings I could not identify yet… - do you have any advise for me?`

Custom theme and snippets: for cosmetic issues, please first try updating your theme and disabling your snippets. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community theme and snippets.

Just to be clear, you are talking about the vanilla Page Preview (core plugin) and not the Hover Editor community plugin, right? (I don’t see Hover Editor in your plugin list, but just wanted to be sure.)

I’d try in the Sandbox vault first. Does the Page Preview pop-up work as expected there?

Then you can move onto your vault. Is the plugin enabled? Try in Restricted mode, no CSS snippets, and using the default theme to see if it works then. All the troubleshooting steps are here.

You’re on an older installer version (1.5.11) try downloading and installing it from here.

Also your version of the Minimal theme is out of date as well.

Just in case, make sure the “Page preview” core plugin is enabled

I did not know, that there is a core plugin for that, that’s why I didn’t look for a solution in the core plugins :slight_smile:
