Hotkey convert highlighted text into new file with highlighted text as new filename

Use case or problem

Productivity enhancement and time savings.

Proposed solution

Why not implement in Obsidian app, where user can hotkey convert highlighted text (words, sentence or paragraph) into new file where highlighted text is the filename?

The hotkey is unassigned by default, but Note Composer’s (a core plugin) Extract current selection has a few options. Have you tried that?

Thank you Ariehen, works for moving the highlighted text to destination file, but left a back link where user need to take an extra step to delete. Filename not duplicated based on first top part of note (but that’s an Obsidian feature). Thanks for letting me know about the feature. It’s helpful to my other needs as well.
