Horizontal view causes the editable pane to be very narrow, not expanding to the full width of the screen

Hi, when I split the view horizontally, the editable pane is very narrow, not expanding to the available width of the screen, whereas the view pane is correctly utilizing the entire width.

Am I doing anything wrong and the editable pane is so narrow?

This is not a bug. There is a settings for readable line lenght.
