Highlights nearly impossible to see in dark mode

Steps to reproduce

Highlight the title/or any text in dark mode.

Expected result

I expect to be able to easily see that the text is highlighted.

Actual result

The text is highlighted in a very dark transparent blue that is very hard to see. It is better in light mode, but I much prefer staying in dark mode. Thank you very much.

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Obsidian version: v0.8.2

I am not sure I get what problem you have. Can you post a screenshot?

Have you tried any of the other CSS custom themes?

Here is a picture I took of where I tend to have problems. Often I will highlight some of the words in a title to copy and paste elsewhere. I find myself squinting and moving closer to the screen to see what if anything is highlighted. In the picture I can see the highlight fine, but when I look at my laptop screen it is very hard to see any difference between when text is highlighted or not. It is a high quality display on a Boxx slm 15”, so I don’t think it is a hardware issue. Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it.
