are you using a custom css?

can you post a screenshot of the original file and the produce pdf?

No. Just using base light theme.

Here’s an excerpt from the original (it’s 5 pages long) file in edit mode:
Highlighted_sections_edit_mode

The highlighting is also visible in preview mode

But when I export the PDF, the highlighting in this section is gone

I can reproduce this very easily:
Highlighting_repro Highlighting_repro_pdf

I don’t use any third party plugins (safe mode enabled).
My core plugins: File explorer, Search, Quick switcher, Graph view, Backlinks, Tag pane, Page preview, Command palette, Markdown format importer, Templates, Outline, Word count.

Hope that helps.

It gets exported as grayed out effect. We’ll try to do better though.

Thank you very much for taking the time to clarify this so quickly. I’m using a blue light filter which combined with my apparent blindness made me not see that at all.

Will be fixed in 0.9.17.
