Is it possible to have a feature similar to * and [ and _ to be able to wrap selected text with = for highlighting?

Yep, thats what I meant. It’s just that with the selected text, typing = just replaces the whole selection. If it doesnt compromise anything, I’d appreciate this kind of update to the highlighting feature.

hey, did you notice the the feature went away? I’m on 0.82 and it used to work on a previous version, but not anymore.

If I understand, you want a hotkey to toggle highlighting on your selection.

The command to highlight is Toggle highlight for selection. You can set a hotkey for that in your Hotkey settings.
