Hiding/ignoring unrelated 'Unlinked mentions'

Use case or problem

Not all unlinked mentions are relevant to the note it’s being linked too. For instance, I’m doing some analysis on the Robinhood trading platform which has a stock ID of HOOD. The note is linking to numerous notes I have on the Hip-hop artist “Ace Hood” and his various albums.

Naturally, the only ‘link’ between the Robinhood trading platform and rapper Ace Hood is by name only. There’s no other link/relation. For this reason, I want to be able to ignore/remove the unlinked mentions as they’re irrelevant

Proposed solution

The ability to hide a mention (via a flag?) on a case-by-case basis—with an option to unhide again in the future (although the latter option is a nice to have). Perhaps adding a 3rd section called “Ignored mentions”

Alternate proposal: Provide a way to filter like the local graph.

Original post updated with a new use case which happened to me today :face_holding_back_tears:

case by case and filtering can be done by using that little magnifying glass.

To exclude Ace Hood simply enter: -“Ace Hood”
