I like Obsidian even more every day!
However, I wonder if there is a way to hide attachments in the left column so that only notes are visible? Whenever I drag in an attachment into a note, it is also shown there.
Have you looked at changing the default attachments folder under Settings -> File (scroll to bottom)?

But that doesn’t hide the attachment folder, if I’m understanding this right. It only uses a per-folder attachment subfolder.
