Hide <br> in Edit mode

Is there a way with CSS to hide <br> in Edit mode? I have the clutter-free mode installed, but that does not affect <br>.

I can’t think of how that would work. Edit mode doesn’t actually render <br> so you can’t target it. Community themes that are hiding the markdown syntax are able to target rendered elements like headings and list items.
