I know there is a plugin called Buttons. I have no clue how that works yet, but I presume one could create a button that closes and re-opens the note by clicking it.
I think I can understand Dataview, but I am by no means skilled in javascript or DataviewJS. If Javascript were a normal language using words instead of numbers, it would make things a whole lot easier for me. But since it’s not, I will have to rely on Dataview OR people like you 
at least for now.
