Good morning. I have returned to Obsidian after a leave of absence (so impressed with the development). This really could be my tool for everything except that I still have to export my pages into Grammarly as it just does not work at all in Obsidian. I moved previously to Logseq as this Gramarly works perfectly within it as it does in Notion.
I have a complex and very severe dyslexic type condition (caused by a brain injury) and I am utter dependant on Grammarly (just writing this post required it extensively).
I am committed to staying with Obsidian and reluctantly will move pages into it or Notion for in-depth grammar and spelling checks, but it would be really nice to just be able to do it in my vault.
If anyone can help or ideas on how I could get it working in here or alternatively, a plug-in that is as good, I would be super grateful.
Much appreciated for your time and any responses and ideas.s
Thank you, Kane

I have a similar problem, as I’m also using Grammarly a lot, but due to English as my 2nd (or 4th
) language.
A few months ago, I found an article stating that the Grammarly API was deprecated. Now, they’re coming back with Tailor Grammarly to Your Team’s Workflows with Custom APIs. However, I don’t see grammatical checks, just features as plagiarism, AI detection, score…
My solution is to use Grammarly as one of the side panes inside Obsidian.
In this video Obsidian AI Tools: Free vs Paid + My Ultimate Solution, @PaulDickson explains very well how to do that at the beginning with the use of Custom Frames. I have ChatGPT (mostly for helping me format) in the Grammarly web app (for obvious purposes
).
Hope this helps you to play further! And yes, to all plugin developers, whoever makes the Grammarly plugin, you’ll have at least two users
