Have the tag panel count/display PARENT TAGS ONLY (excluding any nested/child tags)

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to have the tag panel only target parent/main tags without the attached child/nested tags ?

I know that I can use regex to single out parent tags, excluding any child tags, but it would be wonderful to have the tag panel do this by default.

The issue is that if I use the parent tag only for certain blocks of text (e.g. #TAG1), clicking on it will show me all the tags that contain the parent tag string (e.g. #TAG1/child1, #TAG1/child2, etc.) making it rather difficult to know which ones are parent only.

I’d appreciate any help on the matter .
