Previous behavior:
If I have a A.png file and I drag it into a note, it’ll be pasted as A.png. However, if I use Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V into a note, the file is renamed and pasted into my vault as Pasted image 20241123105309.png.
Current behavior:
A.png is pasted as A.png whether I drag it into a note or pasted using Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V.
The previous behavior was important to me because it provide me 2 ways to name an attachment when I paste it into my vault. I believe some plugins will bring back the old functionality, but I would prefer not to use one if possible.
